Love the outlet here because of the fountain view. Condiment was just okay, the pork bone broth was good 👌🏼
Had a try here with a some friends the mala was quite nice actually and the variety of ingredients available for picking is quite a fair amount and to pay you just go to the counter with the weighing scale and tell the cashier what soup base you want. And it’s self collection so you will need to check out for your number overall really not too bad.
Discovered this malatang spot through a friend’s recommendation. The restaurant is clean and well-kept, and what’s unique is that you can even see the Fountain of Wealth while dining — such a nice touch. The selection of ingredients is decent, though variety is fairly average compared to other places. I tried their best-selling Mala Pork Bone Collagen Soup with mild spice, and it turned out really tasty. Pricing is $3.28 per 100g, which feels reasonable for the area. If I’m craving malatang at Suntec, I’d definitely come back again.
I came here to pack dinner for my mom, who was currently in hospital awaiting surgery in the next few days. I order the dry mala and approach Alvin to assist me to cut all the meats and vegetables to smaller pieces and also to help mixed the sauce first as I feel it will be more tasty for my mom. Despite being very busy, he extended his help to me with sincerity. Thank you for having such great staff, making our dining experience a great one.
A very comfortable location with enough room to manoeuvre inside, especially when picking out our food. The staff were very friendly and helpful as well, and the food is delicious and simple, making it an excellent affordable option imo. (I’m partial to the kimchi I got to take as sides as well.) Will definitely come back with friends when I visit Suntec and am looking for a place to makan.
