The moment I stepped into the restaurant, it felt like I had travelled to China. The atmosphere is authentic and inviting, making the dining experience really enjoyable. We took our time exploring the menu and selected a few dishes to try — every dish we ordered was delicious, and the overall food quality was excellent. Highly recommended for anyone looking for genuine Chinese flavours!

Really enjoyed my meal here. The place has a cosy, old-street Nanjing vibe and the food tasted legit. Loved the duck blood vermicelli and the salted duck — super flavourful. Portions aren’t huge but great for sharing and trying different dishes. Service was fast and the staff were pretty friendly. Prices are decent for Singapore. Overall, a solid spot if you’re craving Nanjing food. I’d definitely come back again.

Saw this on social media and decided to visit and give it a try. Made a reservation so was able to get into the restaurant without waiting. Was quite surprised the place was so crowded. Had a look at the menu and had quite a lot of items to try. Tried following some of the recommended items on social media and the rest we chose based on our liking. Started with the Nanjing noodles in light soy sauce. The noodles were okay but it was the soy sauce which elevated the dish. Then had the duck dumplings which were pretty unique. Also had the Nanjing roast duck which seemed to be the signature and the dish on every table. It was exceptionally good didn't imagine it to taste so delicious. The meat was so tender initially we thought it was the soy sauce chicken. The victory rice cake was something novel, but we didn't really like it. It tasted like a thick kueh tutu inside with a bit of red bean filling. We thought was red bean but wasn't sure because it was too little, had to check with the staff to confirm it was red bean. The brown sugar rice cake was also exceptionally good and super addictive. It's such a great snack but was a bit weird it was sweet and served as a dim sum and not a dessert. The other dishes which we loved was the glutinous rice with pork, excellent flavours and then the huadiao wine drunken crayfish. Could easily be dish everyone enjoyed the most. Desserts we had the red bean rice ball with sweet wine Lees. Strange that this only had a one bowl portion. Everyone felt it was normal but I liked the rice balls which were almost melt in the mouth. Then we also had the duo colour fermented rice with water chestnut pearls. Thought it was not bad but this dessert dish had a bigger size which we could split into several bowls. A bit baffled with the dessert portion sizing. We also saw almost every table having this interesting looking dish and we ordered, the kampong chicken with crispy sesame bun in iron pot. We all felt the chicken portion was too little and the dish was on the disappointing side. Overall we still pretty much enjoyed the meal with minimal misses. Not too bad, can consider visiting in a group so will be able to order more dishes to share.

Restaurant setting brings you back to old times in the 50’s, like in the Chinese HK movies. First time tasting Nanning cuisine, the staff recommend few signature dishes. Start with side dish Fried peanuts with sweet & sour sauce not in post picture. Not me taste yet so let the staff know before they unseal warping & pour inthe sauce. Appetizer start with cold dried tofu & Ma Lan Tou salad, something i never taste before. Signature soup is Poached “Lion’s head” meatball like a baseball size. Two persons can share this soup if you find too much meat, the meatball is mild taste and semi-soft texture than a tofu. Staff recommend young patrons order Jinling Roast duck (small) enough for four sharing. There is white & black sesame over the top while the duck meat is tender soft with a candle warmer below. Nanjing noodles in light soy sauce broth not too salty and eat well with Seasonal vegetable (Blanched stir fried with garlic). There is one thing need to mention, tables with horizontal post underneath is uncomfortable as you cannot cross legs. Overall the food tastes and pricing are acceptable.

Such a great Nanjing-style restaurant! The whole place has that classic, vintage vibe and tons of character. I always order the salted duck — super authentic and so good. Honestly every dish tastes amazing, and the service is great too. Highly recommend!
