I ordered the tomato sliced fish soup along with some ingredients. The ingredients I picked were: 1 Lup Cheong, 2 cheese tofu, small portion of bean curd skin and oyster mushroom and a pack of Udon. It seems like that small amount of ingredients I picked cost more than the fish slice soup. I believe that the udon packet contains water weight. Update: I tried the malaxiangguo, this time round the potato weren't fried but were soaked with oil and soggy. I had food poisoning right after having lunch here.

Delicious Mala hot pot. I went for the least spicy option and it tasted so good, mildly spicy but still super flavorful! And the best of all, they deep fried the lotus chips before stir frying them

This is without a doubt the best mala place in the Lavender area and one of the best mala places in Singapore. I eat here often and I usually get the pork bone malatang here. It's fragrant, milky and full of pork bone flavor. I recommend getting 小辣 - any higher a spice level and the flavor of the chili will overpower the bone broth imo. The selection of ingredients is fresh and you can't go wrong with anything I think. Price is by weight, so I typically pick more meat and seafood here. There is usually no wait during dinner time. Lunch time on a weekday will be extremely busy due to the office towers above the mall. I haven't tried the mala xiangguo yet, but I have it on good word that it's also good and I plan to give it a try soon. Regardless, a can't miss spot for anyone looking for a satisfying bowl of malatang.

Review of Pin Wei Mala @ Aperia Mall Pin Wei Mala at Aperia Mall has quickly become one of my favorite spots for mala—it’s easily one of the best I’ve tried in Singapore. What stood out most was the pork bone broth base. Unlike the standard mala tang that can sometimes feel flat or oily, their soup carried a deep, authentic flavor that paired perfectly with the numbing spice. It gave the whole bowl a richer, more satisfying taste that kept me going back for sip after sip. The mala itself was addictive—fragrant, well-balanced, and customizable to your preferred spice level. The ingredients were fresh, and everything from the meats to the vegetables soaked up the broth beautifully. I especially enjoy ordering their Sichuan beancurd fish soup as the base, then adding two extra meats from the DIY section to create a wholesome and hearty mala dish. The combination always hits the spot! The atmosphere at the Aperia Mall outlet was casual and comfortable, making it an easy place to enjoy a hearty bowl of mala with friends or even on your own. Service was also quick, so you won’t be waiting long even during busier hours. Simply put, Pin Wei Mala is hard to resist. If you’re a mala lover looking for depth of flavor beyond just heat, this is definitely a place worth trying.
