Polar Puffs & Cakes | Junction 8

Once an all time old school favorite, sadly reduced to cost cutting measures. The cakes don’t taste the same anymore. It has an artificial taste. Standards are not consistent also as seen in the difference in sizes of two sugar rolls. Found that to be amusing when I opened my box. Sadly no longer a decent tea time snack. Can taste the cheaper ingredients used.

Giving this branch a 5 star rating for the staff professionalism. I was earlier at the novena square 2 branch at 940pm but was unable to be served. Fortunately after rushing down to the bishan branch, I was served at abt 950pm.

Back to Childhood: A Review of Nostalgic Sugar Roll Packaging Ah, the sugar roll. A simple pleasure that evokes a wave of childhood nostalgia. But it's not just the taste that transports us back in time; it's the packaging too.

Terrible outlet. Got scammed when i went to buy a cake. There was a signboard stating 20% discount. However, after paying and when i checked the receipt a few metres away, i realized no discount for that was given... just the Passion Card one. When i went back to ask, the staff tells me it's only for two of the cakes. Maybe this company profits by being dishonest? Even no one picks up when you call their company hotline, nor answers messages via their website form. Very disappointed in Polar.
