Yakiniku Like

I surprisingly liked this place! The beef has really good flavor, and I like that they give different sauce options — my favorite is the garlic sauce, it really makes the meat tastier. The setup is simple and convenient, perfect if you’re craving yakiniku. That said, the price is on the higher side, so for me it’s more of a once-in-a-while treat rather than a regular stop. Still, a nice spot to satisfy cravings.

Had a pleasant experience at Yakiniku Like at AMK Hub! The staff were helpful and it feels comfortable throughout my visit. What I really enjoyed was the individual BBQ grill setup - it's perfect for grilling your own meat just the way you like it. The beef paired well with rice after grilling. The highlight for me was definitely the sauces, especially the soya garlic sauce - delicious! There are several meal set options available. They have Chawanmushi as well. Do note that there's a dining time limit of 50 minutes (if I'm not mistaken), so plan accordingly. Overall, a great solo yakiniku experience. I'll definitely be coming back!

Visited Yakiniku at Ang Mo Kio with my boyfriend after a long time, as it has always been our comfort food. We ordered differently (one unlimited BBQ, one set meal) and acknowledged after explained, this was against the outlet’s policy. The issue was not the rule, but the service. The staff, Amy, explained the policy, which we understood. However, while serving our food, she kept nagging and repeating the same remarks, making the atmosphere tense and uncomfortable. This was a major turn-off and I couldn’t even finish my meal. When I asked for her name, there was no apology, she simply pointed to her name tag and said, “It’s Amy.” Once a rule is explained, repeatedly emphasizing it while serving customer is not part of good customer service SOP. I know we were at fault and I’m not saying customers are always right, but customers still have rights, and today’s experience crossed that line.

Service by Staff Wan Nie & Team was great. Food was served quick, staff were very attentive to the surrounding. The app had some issue. Staff even helped to take down membership number.

Promotion board says choose 1 set, get 15/20% off the ala carte meat/seafood respectively. Turns out it only applies to 1 ala carte meat per set and I was charged full price for the 2nd ala carte. Please state clearly on your promotion board (pasted at every seat) that this is the criteria and not misrepresent your charges. Might be intentional but the discounted price is not shown at your order confirmation page so you don’t immediately know that you’re charged full price for the 2nd Ala carte dish ordered and you’ve to pay what you ate at the cashier after the meal. Quite a scam, I must say.
