$58 Peking duck on a Saturday afternoon? What a steal. I was hesitant after reading some mixed reviews, but wow — this was absolutely worth it. Just look at the video — the skin was incredibly thin and crisp, exactly how it should be. Since it was just the two of us, we didn’t get to try many dishes, but we opted to use the duck meat for fried rice. That turned out to be a brilliant decision — full of wok hei, generous portions, and honestly enough to feed five hungry people. We ended up packing the rest home. Super value for money. I’m already planning my next visit to try the rest of the menu!
A very high favourite of ours!😍 Always been meaning to rate this restaurant but each time after the meal (and we’ve had many🤭), we’re all so satiated & often end up in a lovely “food coma” we forget to do this 😴🤭 Food here is of a very consistently high standard. Dishes are well balanced and delicious. One good thing to note is that we DON’T feel madly thirsty after 😍👍🏼 Restaurant is clean, bright & spacious. The staff especially the long-time lady maitre’d is top notch & excellent, super attentive without being bothersome. (I’m sorry I can’t remember your name🙏🏼🫢) This time, we ordered the Sweet & Sour Fish, Spare Ribs, Eefu noodles with Truffle oil, long beans with mince and Salted Egg Cereal Prawns. All washed down happily with PuEr tea. Dishes arrived promptly and piping hot. •The fish slices were generous and tender. Sauce was well balanced with generous portions of tomato & onion. •Spare Ribs were tender and cut to edible tasty morsels. •Eefu Noodles had a delicate balance of truffle oil and other seasonings. •Long beans with mince pork had the delightful crunch and sweetness •Salted Egg cereal prawns were umami-ly addictive! Other visits, the dishes were just as delicious. One really good point to note is the easy accessibility especially for seniors or people in wheelchairs. The carpark drop off point is just less than 50m from restaurant - wide open accessibility. And there’s a lot of carpark spaces. Would highly recommend 😍🤩🌟
(May2025) Disappointed to see the 10% service charge now. The Char Siew was very fatty, only half the plate was edible! Fortunately the other dishes were quite alright. (Nov2023) I just realized there’s no additional service charge here, despite the good service! The Flying Noodles dish is not in the menu, but can order from the friendly staff. I highly recommend the Sweet & Sour Pork as well! (Aug2023) A waitress helped to distribute the fish and noodles into individual portion for everyone, great service! Highly recommend the Peking Duck, and the accompanying duck noodles. The drinks (Yuzu and Lemon Grass) are very refreshing!
Went on a Saturday evening. Place was pretty much empty. Food wise was average but price was slightly on the expensive side. We did order more of the premium dishes, such as asparagus with crab roe, dong Bo rou, salted egg prawns, and their truffle tofu. However, despite the dishes being well done, it just did not have a bang in it which I expected from a restaurant. The prawns were firm and nicely done, but lacked the savory that salted egg prawns should have. The truffle tofu had only a very light truffle smell and it seemed more fancy than actually being nice. The tofu itself wasn't impressive as good tofus should be. I would have rated this restaurant 3 stars instead of 4, if it were not for their staff who were attentive towards our needs and constantly checking up on us.
Had a good experience at this restaurant. Staff were prompt to requests n attentive. Dishes cooked were nice n delicious. The Peking duck done both ways s recommended. The skin s very crispy n meat s juicy n soft. Rest of duck was cooked with Mee Sua. Yummy. Restaurant s not very big. Just nice for a quiet family dinner or gathering. Should give it a try.
