Tried the soft tofu stew set which is too oily in my opinion though the taste is quite nice to eat with rice. Tried the beef bulgogi with housemade tofu which I think nothing special and tasteless though the beef bulgogi tasted quite good. The side dishes are quite tasty. There’s not much of service as ordering is from a tablet and water/ tea is self-service from a table. The place is quite big and bright with lots of tables and chairs. Price is a bit steep but the portions are great, very filling for me.

Big eater ? Good news portion is huge here. Quite pricy, but you do get quite a large serving. Food is amazing. I didn’t get any thirsty effect after eating. The lady captain/manager was very courteous. Highly recommended.

It’s OK, not as amazing as the crowd might have you believe nor as wonderful as the name suggests. It’s below average for me. Service is prompt and friendly. Menu looks better than the actual food. My soup was watery and full of MSG, homemade tofu was curdly and didn’t really resemble the texture that the photos promised. Beef had really little actual meat, and the seaweed appetiser ran out when I asked for my third bowl. Chilli used for the kimchi was quite meh, not sharp/tart nor was it anything memorable. If you prefer your rice plump and chewy, I’m not sure what the usual fare is here since mine was almost porridgey (which is OK, I’m equal opportunity for rice!) Overheard other tables were impressed by the soup sets they ordered as compared to competitors in the area. Well, I had the same but didn’t share their view. Hella noisy place without soundproofing when it’s full. Not a place I would recommend for great Korean food.

FOOD Hot stone bibimbap was sizeable with crunchy vegetables, fried egg and your choice of protein (pork, chicken or beef). Decent tasting. Tofu with boiled pork set was decent too. Pork belly was good but homemade tofu was way too dense and coarse for my liking. Beef Bulgolgi was mildly sweet which is a nice change from the usual overly sweet ones. Same comment on the tofu as well. Rolled omelette roll was a tad too oily for my liking and came served with ketchup. SERVICE Minimal interaction with the staff beyond making payment and serving of food. Orders are through the tablet and water/tea is self service. But generally ok. ATMOSPHERE Tables are spaced adequately apart but the music can be quite loud, which makes conversation a tad difficult. Overall food is average but portions are huge.

Came here for dinner on a PH and there was a queue. Was kind of worried that we had to wait for long with 6 people ahead of us. But I realised the queue moves pretty fast if you're in groups of 2, as there are MANY tables for that pax size. Each set ranges around $24++ and really is quite filling. The sides are refillable and honestly, while they're not mind-blowingly amazing, they really change up the flavour of your soup and rice if you're sick of eating the same thing. Barley tea (hot and cold) is complimentary and self-service. The ordering system is all done on an iPad near you, and everything is very seamless. Here is what we ordered: 🥟 Fried Mandu (4pcs) was massive like the size of a toddler's fist. Each manufacturer were lightly battered to give the golden exterior crisp and filled with ingredients on the inside like vegetables, minced pork and rice noodles. Each bite was mouthful and it's a great sharing dish too I rate: 4/5 ⭐️ 🍲 Dwenjang Jjigae Beef and personally felt it was a bit too salty, but the plain pearly white rice that was cooked in the metal pot really helped to balance the flavours. Beef slices were quite okay in portion. I rate: 3.8/5⭐️ 🍲 The Pork Tofu Jjigae was really the star and would be great for those who would love a spicy kick with a slight tang. The tofu bits were all crumbly like scrambled eggs. I can imagine that this would go really well as a hangover soup or for people who love savoury, hearty stews. I rate: 4.5/5⭐️
