honestly the service and atmosphere was really good, but food was really subpar. I ordered the tempura tendon and the tempura egg especially the egg yolk tasted like it was soaked in canola oil, I had sore throat after that. The tempura prawns the batter didn't really feel like tempura and the prawns weren't sweet and fresh but like from frozen packs. Their ramen is the worst, tried before the noodles aren't springy and super firm. And the broth didn't taste like a good ramen broth and had not much depth in flavour. The hanjuku eggs didn't feel very hanjuku, not enough orange liquid coming out of the eggs. Wouldn't come back again in the near future.

We ordered 2 signature tendon sets as we've not tried this place before, despite walking past it a number of times when we visit the mall. The tendon set was pretty standard, in terms of variety of the types of meat and veg, as well as the taste. We liked that the set has an egg as well, as most other tendon places don't have an egg as part of the set. The egg however was overcooked, so the yolk was hardened instead of runny. Even though the food was decent, the speed of service left a lot to be desired. We came late - about 8.15pm, so the place was already pretty empty. We didn't expect to have to wait long for the food to be served. To make things worse, the staff were already mopping the floor while we were eating, so we had to endure the overly strong smell of detergent throughout our meal. I get that the staff want to leave on time, and may want to get the cleaning done since there wasn't many customers left, but they could have done so for the areas where customers are not dining at.

Best Japanese flavours at great price! This brand never disappoints. The food is fresh! Portion is generous. Service is fast and the staff very friendly. One of the best halal Japanese restaurants. Highly recommended for families.

First time dining here. The Spicy chicken Ramen was yummy!Atomsphere was comfortable and clean. The staff was friendly and good services here. Will come again.

Food and service is great. I had the Nasi Lemak with chicken wing, set meal with ice tea and pudding. Yes I know... I went to a japanese restaurant for Nasi Lemak. But honestly it's a very well made Nasi Lemak. Chicken was hot and crispy, rice was soft and flavorful with a ton of crispy ikan bilies and roasted peanuts, a party in my mouth! The best thing of all is the sambal, it's not only spicy, its so flavourful and yummy! The iced tea is fine and the pudding was also alright. Honestly I still can't believe I had nasi lemak at Tokyo Shokudo xD
